Join us for this discussion with participants of the Bleeding disorders Substance Use & Mental Health Access Coalition (BD SUMHAC). Presenters Joanne Fadale Wagner, Miranda Solem, and Dr. Emily Wheat will share background on BD SUMHAC and current activities and priorities, including the provider toolkit that BD SUMHAC has developed. Presenters will discuss the importance of assessing earlier and normalizing discussions about mental health and substance use disorder, partnering with other providers, and getting to know community resources and facilities. Presenters will also touch on approaches to preparing patients to advocate for themselves. Webinar attendees will walk away with concrete next steps and tools for how to support patients in their own HTCs.

This webinar is jointly provided by Partners for Advancing Clinical Education (PACE) and ATHN and is subcontracted to Redefine Health Education for PT/PTA CE credit in many states. There is no cost associated with this webinar.
